Bemit (APYRAL AOH®) je aluminijev-oksid-hidroksid otporan na visoke temperature koji se koristi za proizvodnju katalizatora u naftnoj industriji. Također se koristi u vatrootpornim polimerima, gdje je zanimljiv zbog svojih ekoloških svojstava (ne sadrži halogene). Stabilan je do 320 °C. Visoka temperaturna stabilnost omogućuje upotrebu bemita u zahtjevnim primjenama za tehničke komponente u automobilskoj i elektroničkoj industriji.
